I started this blog in the summer of 2009 as I began exploring and getting involved in the local green community. There was so much going on, so many new organizations and businesses working hard to make Miami more sustainable, yet there was no central source of information, making it hard to keep up with the green movement.

Writing this blog continues to be an eye opener; we learn daily about things that we’ve been doing wrong all along, or that we could improve to be more sustainable. I used to think that my generation too often took for granted what others fought for, but now I couldn’t be prouder to to be part of the green movement.
